What channels do you want to see added?

Hello all,

I am continuing to enjoy the IPTV "experiment" through BES, but find myself wishing for additional content, especially in HD.

With the Olympics currently the focus of much of my home's viewing, it would be great to have TSN2 and the SportsNet channels in HD.

I think the other obvious content missing in HD is the time-shifting channels, which are currently only available in SD.

What channels would YOU like to see?

There are a bunch of channels coming Feb 23 including CNN and CNN HD. The thing about channels is that you really don't know what's good till you try it. Nickelodeon would be nice for thf kids. Tech TV if that's still on. What do you think of the packages? Are they good deals?

Yeah - there are quite a few kids channels which would be great to have, but we only tend to watch Treehouse here. My kids are still pretty young though.

Something we miss a lot from Rogers is the on demand content - especially the free stuff on ROD like current run TV shows and specialty channels like Treehouse on demand.

I sure hope that the BES on demand offerings improve drastically. Frankly, at the moment they are an embarrassment. They also have to come up with a way to block out access to the adult on demand content - even if you password protect the purchase process, it is still possible to view the movie jackets. Not really a huge concern for my family right now, but in a couple more years it sure will be.

We tend to get the "all you can eat package" (VIP Ultimate with Movies with Rogers, Super with BES) as there are too many varied interests to cover - I do wish it was possible to get more add-on packages with the Super package. We get all of the English theme packs, but would like some of the French content too and we were told it wasn't possible at the moment...

I was quite disappointed when I realized that Sportsnet HD wasn't there during the Olympics...hope we get that soon.

I was disappointed as well. I notice that TSN, TSN2, Sportsnet and a new channel Sportsnet Extra are all going to share the broadcasting for Jays games this year. Hopefully we have all four in HD by the time baseball season rolls around...not much time though!

I only see channel 405 Sportsnet Ontario and it is standard digital, not HD. Which channel is Sportsnet HD?

Sportsnet HD - Ontario - channel 851 (right after TSNHD)... until it gets placed in the 1000's starting Monday
